Dear friends and followers, after two days of battle to get Fair Binary Options website back online, we have made it, and most of our readers should have no problems accessing our reviews, guides and news. We are grateful to everyone who helped to make this possible – for us to overcome another uphill battle in our war against binary scammers. We also want to thank many customers who contacted us about the issue and voiced their support over Facebook messages and our live chat this morning.
While the attacks are still persisting, this will not stop us from delivering services to the visitors of the website. For our international visitors, the localized versions of our website will be live soon too, enabling us to completely restore the service and serve the binary options community in non-English speaking countries, too.
Over 20 Billion Fake Requests
We are still seeing millions requests going towards our website every hour. They originate from hackers that were hired to do this. Overall, since the attacks started, we have had literally billions of requests of which the sole aim is to disable access of the site to other users and bring it down. You can see these staggering numbers on the screenshot below. This was done with someone who has serious resources and they directed them against FairBinaryOptions.com
Why was Fair Binary Options Attacked?
This kind of attack is not the first one we endured this year. The reasons are obvious – there are people out there who do not adhere to our ethical standards and they are not happy for being called out for what they are – scammers who do not offer legitimate services to their customers. We were ready for this when we started the website and we understand this is probably not the last time we will have to deal with such attacks. We say bring it on!
At this point, we can’t really confirm who is behind the attack. During the years we certainly did make enemies by warning customers about the threats for their money. We have also seen many of these scammers disappear after their scams have been uncovered. But they are always back with new schemes, so our work is never done. In any case, whoever is doing this might have halted us briefly, but not for long.
If you want to speculate who it might be, we suggest visiting our blacklisted brokers section, however, however, finding those responsible is not in our focus. As long as we are able to provide many of our free services to customers from around the globe, we will continue do so, even if being honest means taking such attacks against our website.
